Once again…allow me to geek out for a bit…
(SPOILERS FOR “THE DARK KNIGHT” IN THE BODY OF THIS POST — NO WORRIES AFTER THE JUMP.)
Now that the record-breaking hysteria has (somewhat) subsided regarding “The Dark Knight,” I thought I’d take a moment to forecast the third installment (and perhaps future installments) of Christopher Nolan’s franchise.
First thing’s first. What to call the next film? Ideas bounced around by fans have included tips of the hat to other aspects of the universe (“Batman Beyond,” “The Dark Knight Returns,” etc.). My personal hope was always that the Dark Knight moniker would somehow be a part of the franchise, and thankfully, they went there with the second installment.
I kind of think taking Frank Miller’s title for part three would be brilliant (especially considering the nature of the final moments of “The Dark Knight”). But the answer here would, of course, have everything to do with the content of the film.
At this point, we don’t have a clear idea of what to expect from the next film. “Batman Begins” scribe David Goyer (who shares a story credit on “Knight”) formulated the blueprints for a trilogy with Nolan at the outset, and we’re pretty sure Two-Face was supposed to play a considerable role in the next phase. Despite all the chatter that would have you believe Harvey Dent is dead at the end of “Knight,” that early talk of Aaron Eckhart’s contract being for two films couldn’t have been coming from thin air.
Beyond that, the wonderful thing about the Batman mythos is that there is an array — a “rogues gallery” — of villains to choose from. And certainly, there are seven decades of story development to glean for a solid denouement to the trilogy.
The Riddler is staring everyone in the face as the most likely possibility. And I really like the idea of handing it over to the character of Coleman Reese (as mentioned by one of our readers last week). Christopher Nolan is supposedly not a fan of the Penguin, and we all want Catwoman to pop up somehow. But that’s a whole other can of worms.
If I had my druthers, I’d introduce the Riddler and the Penguin (as a mafia figure…nothing major), with Two-Face running rampant as the most dangerous aspect of the trio. But as I said (and we all know), any combination is possible.
So with that, below you’ll find my personal casting call for the potential rogues we could see in a third film or even future installments of a franchise that could go from here to eternity. Of course, we won’t be seeing all of these cats pop up, but the sky is the limit with this universe.
Here’s my perspective…
THE RIDDLER: Christopher Meloni
Most seem to think this is the next element of the rogues gallery to be a thorn in the Batman’s side. Frank Gorshin originated the role in the old television series. John Astin also played his hand at the part on screen and Jim Carrey, of course, channeled the former in his “Batman Forever” portrayal. I’ve always felt like Christopher Meloni (of television’s “Oz” and “Law & Order: SVU”) had a certain appeal to carry across the king of conundrums. Perhaps it stems back to that hilarious “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” cameo. Of course, the role shouldn’t be dominated by humor, but the right touch helps and I think Meloni has that in spades.
THE PENGUIN: Bob Hoskins
As noted, it has been said that Christopher Nolan isn’t a big fan of the Penguin. I can’t verify that, however, I can say it would be a shame to exclude him from the proceedings. The Penguin (a.k.a. Oswald Cobblepot) isn’t one of my favorites, but his popularity nonetheless skyrocketed after Burgess Meredith gave the character flight in the old television series. And Tim Burton’s Danny DeVito vision of the role is a nice Elseworlds touch, but hardly practical. The Penguin has always been better suited on the outskirts, as a mafia figure…but a dangerous one. With that in mind, no one seems better-suited to the umbrella-toting baddie than the great Bob Hoskins.
CATWOMAN: Milla Jovovich
You can’t be obvious here. You just can’t. Halle Berry seemed like a good choice until that wretched beast of a film unfurled, and similar (obvious) picks like Eva Mendes and Angelina Jolie have been suggested as well. I like Den of Geek’s pick of Tilda Swinton because it takes the character in the appropriately oddball direction for the current franchise. But I wouldn’t buy the romance with Bruce Wayne, and that is integral. With that in mind, and tackling possibly the toughest casting decision of the lot, I would certainly buy into Wayne having a freaky, twisted sort of obsession with Milla Jovovich. It has to be someone whose eyes could melt the soul and the heart.
MR. FREEZE: Patrick Stewart
We would all like to forget Arnold Schwarzenegger’s portrayal of Dr. Victor Fries in the abominable “Batman & Robin.” Otto Preminger, George Sanders and Eli Wallach each left something to be desired on the tube version of the role. But Mr. Freeze is, to my mind, one of the classic and imminently doable villains of the Bat universe. Christopher Nolan has proven he can make anything seem realistic or reasonable, has he not? With all that in mind, I think I side with the fans on this one. Patrick Stewart would be the perfect choice to carry Fries out of his own despair and tragedy and onto the screen as a formidable foe for the Batman.
POISON IVY: Vera Farmiga
Most agree that the one thing remotely redeemable about “Batman & Robin” was Uma Thurman’s delicious (if far from faithful) depiction of Poison Ivy. In a franchise some think lacks the right feminine touch (and with Rachel Dawes proving to be a weak link twice), Mr. Nolan may look to expand his sights to the ladies of Batman’s rogues gallery. Ivy has always been a diabolical choice in that vein and the role needs an actress who can seem relatively lovely but with that right touch of icy vengeance underneath. “The Departed” and “Nothing But the Truth” star Vera Farmiga certainly seems to have that quality and would fit in with the most talented of casts.
THE VENTRILOQUIST: Stephen Tobolowsky
This is a character the filmmakers could easily take or leave. There is an element of ridiculousness at play that could be less than enticing, but personally, I’ve always thought the terrifying Scarface was a wonderfully maniacal element in the mafia underbelly of Gotham City. In the Ventriloquist, Scarface’s chubby and silent sidekick, you would need an actor capable of being at once ambiguous and unsettling. Considering Nolan has worked with Stephen Tobolowsky in the past (2001’s “Memento”), perhaps his casting would work out. There’s something eerily appealing about the actor. And he could slip into the background well enough. I’d love to see him in the franchise.
DICK GRAYSON/NIGHTWING: James McAvoy
Wrapping things up, I want to address the Dick Grayson issue again. I’m already on the record as saying that it would be a shame to disregard the potential for this character as a way to bridge two franchises. I won’t bother kicking around ideas for a younger Grayson (a.k.a. Robin) because selecting child actors is a fickle thing. It’s probably best to seek out an unknown. But in James McAvoy, I get the sense that filmmakers on this franchise could find a goldmine of potential. The actor seems quite capable of bulking up and taking on the psychological balance of Grayson as Nightwing, a foil of sorts for the ever unbalanced Bruce Wayne/Batman and the key to making this franchise about much, much more.
There are obviously many other characters from the Bat universe which Nolan and company could work into the fabric of their vision of the character. Killer Croc can work. Clayface can work. Black Mask can obviously work. Anything, really, can work. It’s all about finesse and tweaking to slide them comfortably into the hyper-reality of the franchise. However, I steered clear of offering up casting decisions because they are three particularly vague entities that could be represented by any number of gifted actors.
Meanwhile, there is the ever-expanding array of side characters that might be introduced. Anarky, David Cain, Deadshot, Lady Shiva, Harley Quinn, etc. More doable, real-world-rooted characters could include Hugo Strange, Rupert Thorne, Talia al Ghul (THIS would be fun), hell, even KGBeast. Tons to choose from. And nary an ill-advised path. Only ill-advised filmmaking choices, of which Nolan hasn’t exactly proven himself to be capable thus far with this franchise.
Obviously I’m excited. But tell us what you think.
Who would you cast in the roles of Batman’s vast gallery of villainy?

What about Black Mask? Oh and Mad Hatter with Johnny Depp is a good idea.
But I would like Two Face to return, he is after all like the second most important villain in the franchise. The Joker would be nice too since he is THE villain in Batman, but I don’t think anyone can top Heath’s portrayal… yet just one film with him seems small.
I’ve finally seen it so I can finally comment.
First of all, the Ridler would be too much like the Joker. I know, I know, they’re different, but to the audience he would be. It’s not wise, too similar.
Second, there’s a clear nod to a possible future villain early on in the film. It’s when Bruce talks about his new armor and mentions it might not be able to resist kittens, or cats. Seems obvious to me.
Third, Penguin would be a little over-the-top in the current Nolan Batman universe. He’s a little too “unnatural”.
So, my guess would be Catwoman. And who should play her? Some sweet and cute LITTLE girl that is an awesome up and coming actress: Ellen Page. First one that popped up, even thoug she’s a little young, especially when she gets romantically involved with Bruce/Batman, but still. The best choice IMO.
Here’s a few ideas to put on the table.
1) Have penguin as a minor club owner who deals in information, (I was on a website tied into the dark knight movie and there was an advertisement about the iceberg lounge and in the comics the penguin owned a club called the iceberg lounge, coincidence? Probably not.)
2) Two-Face. I would love to see this character play a major role in the next movie, but more behind the scenes trying to control all the mob bosses using them to attack the police, gordon and batman. That can continue the joker’s anarchy deal.
3) As for love interests they could play on Talia Al Ghul coming to town for revenge or to warn Bruce, whichever could be better. In my opinion I would make her a love interest who comes to warn bruce about the League of Shadows, and that Lady Shiva or David Cain is leading them now and are coming back to destroy Gotham once more. Bane could be used as the assassin in league with them, or hired by the mob or two-face as someone else said.
4) Catwoman, maybe, but she would need a good reason to be there, I’d rather see Lady Shiva, than her, but if they have a good story than I don’t care.
Overall I have faith that if they make another movie, it will be made well and not just thrown together. And my preference for names would be “Shadow of the Bat”
I would like to see the riddler or even the mad hatter, especially with the hatter going after little kids, it would add a new level of insane, but at the same time maintain the realism that nolan has efficiently established with the first two films. I think that Paul Bettany would make an excellent choice for either villian, with johnny depp in a close second for the hatter.
mmmm. maria bello…. Err… what were you talking about?
Johnny Depp would be a ridiculous choice. He’s the biggest star in the world right now next to Will Smith. It would be too much distraction. It would become the next Depp-movie instead of the follow-up to the brilliant Dark Knight.
In Nolan’s realistic depiction of Batman, there would most probably be no room for zouped up supervillians like Mr. Freeze, or comical characters like The Riddler (though Anthony Michael Hall could be teased as a Riddler-in-making). Less likely would be Harley Quinn or the Catwoman, but the 3rd film would have a female lead nonetheless. She could be an existing comic character or a new character. Nolan, Bale and Goyer had shot down introducing Robin to their canon.
Bane would be a logical choice as the question in the 3rd film would be given Bane’s fight with Batman would leave Batman broken, battered and nearly costing his life, what is the make of Bruce Wayne’s spirit and commitment to his cause as a vigilante and a true protector of Gotham? Of course we all know Batman will answer the call once again, but it’s an interesting psychological question to consider.
In Nolan’s continued adaptation of the Mob as the main cause of Gotham’s crime, expect the Mob to have a new head after Falcone and Maroni. This could pave the room for the Penguin/Black Mask as the new underworld boss to enter the scene. In this arc, Bane is the hired muscle to take out Batman because of Bane’s violent/ruthless behavior as a mercenary or rogue super-soldier. Of course, with Mob money sponsoring Bane’s arsenal of weapons, Bane nearly and we can realistically believed, able to cause Batman’s death.
I see Harvey Dent in the third film, though he could sacrifice his life for Batman, Bruce Wayne revealing his identity to Dent before his death, thus completing the circle of having Batman’s two best friends, Rachel and Harvey dying as collateral damage, making Batman truly alone in his cause to protect Gotham.
In Nolan’s numerous interview to TDK, he did said the questions in a trilogy would be the beginning, the escalation, and the improvement.
Nolan’s Batman films are crime drama epics. Think Heat, not Dirty Harry one-liners, or X-Men superheroes/supervillians’ cramp-fest.
If Nolan is not coming back, Michael Mann(Heat/Collateral/Miami Vice), Paul Thomas Anderson(There Will Be Blood) , David Fincher (Fight Club/Zodiac/Se7en) or even Sir Ridley Scott (Blade Runner/Gladiator) would be my ideal replacements.
Personally, I’d love to see the Joker again, because of Heath’s legendary potrayal. Bless you, Heath! Re-cast, or 3-D Animation( Ed Norton’s Hulk) with a voice actor would be fine for me. CGI could really kick a** in 2-3 years’ time :)
“The Batman” would be my choice for the third title. “Knight of Gotham”, “Gotham Knight”, “Son of Gotham”,”Batman Lives” are my alternatives!
batman 3 is coming in 2011 and its going to called” the shadow of the bat “
Conjecture at this point. The title, that is, not the date. I’ve heard the “Shadow” possibility as well.
leo dicaprio or sean penn as the riddler
charlize theron as catwoman
that is it. straight up.
[…] thoughts on casting the rest of the series are already in print, but here’s two more names, grst for […]
Why not just have one villain? To me, this would be far more effective. I could see a cameo, or the main villain using another one as a tool, but not two major villains that the previous franchise did. Two-Face, in TDK, was not a “main villain”, but a corrupt vigilante who goes crazy. Scarecrow, in Begins, was not a “main villain” but a pawn by Ra’s Al Ghul and a way to amplify Bruce’s fears. That’s why I think maybe we could use Catwoman to amplify Bruce’s weakness, but have a main villain with whom she is not affiliated.
Gotta love your suggestion about McCavoy as Nightwing. His quality as an actor makes him worthy of a Nolan cast (don’t see Wanted; see Atonement)… and doing Nightwing just skiping the Robin phase is something I wouldn’t blame the nolans for.
My picks for the villains: Mr. Freeze & Catwoman… you know, he needs someone to project his current conflicts on…
Freeze lost everything and he’s now breaking rules just to bring his loved one back (something Bruce would love to have the opportunity to do), but the sci-fi ‘cooling’ problem makes it complicated to work in this new universe where plausiblility rules.
Patrick Stewart is someone who be great in the part, but you know who would OWN that role? Ben Kingsley. See ‘House of Sand and Fog’.
Catwoman, well, is quite obvious. With Rachel out of the picture there is a vacant spot for a love story, and Batman now is completely isolated from the police… to have him have a LOVE-hate relationship with a criminal (someone who doesn’t kill, and just breaks the law without harming people) would create a very nice conflict.
You’re right on the mark about the casting – it should be unconventional. That’s why Angelina Jolie wouldn’t work. But Tilda Swinton… now that’s TOO unconventional.
So, those two, I think, would make the perfect pair of villains to complement the new situation of Batman… and they would help explore a new theme: the ambiguity of Right and Wrong whem it comes to crimes that are not fatal to anyone and committed by a loved one (Bruce falling in love for Seline Kyle) or that are committed to save someone else’s life (Victor Fries trying to save his wife Nora who’s frozen).
What do you think?
Was having difficulty mentally casting Catwoman yesterday, after Awards Daily covered the yawnsome Angelina Jolie rumour.
Suddenly the name Christina Hendricks (the sleek redheaded secretary from Mad Men) popped into my head. I haven’t been able to get it out since.
Hmmm… Just one question:
Who the f___ are you?
God, just listen to yourself! The only casting call I liked at all was Patrick Stewart, because it tickles me the way geeks always seem to go for the former Star Trek captain for the role of EVERY BALD COMIC BOOK CHARACTER EVER. Well done, sir.
(That comment was for the author of this article, not the guy who posted before me about not being able to get Christina Hendricks out of his head, which is also pretty geeky, but kind of forgivable.)
Come on, Travis, the point of blogs like this is that they’re a safe space for us geeks. Play nice!
Sorry! I didn’t know if anyone was still reading this page…
It was late and I was just amusing myself, I didn’t really mean it.
Okay i’m sure that there are loads of people who like the idea of putting Johnny Depp in the next installment (if there will be one) as the riddler but i just have to say in my opinion i think it could actually ruin the film. Purely because so many people confuse the joker and the riddler and they would compare Johnny Depp and Heath Ledger and Depp may not be able to pull off the riddler as well as Ledger pulled of the joker. Also there would be some backlash as to Depp being too much of a star. That also applies to Angelina Jolie wanting to play Catwoman. However I think that Philip Seymour Hoffman should play the Penguin. Also Two Face’s story arc should be brought back seeing how it was only towards the end of the dark knight that we actually got to see Two Face instead of Harvey Dent and personaly i’d like to see more of that. Due to the death of Rachel in the dark knight as a new love intrest i reckon that Talia Al Ghul (daughter of Ra’s Al Ghul) would be and excellent candidate. As for any new villains to be introduced i would preferably like to see Hush or Hugo Strange. However for Hugo Strange i think that it would be good if he pretended to be a hero for a majority of the film hiding his insanity and lust to become batman. Sorry to drag that on for a bit too long….
I think Black Mask will be brought in played by Tommy Lister. This was hinted at in TDK; Quote from wikipedia:”a prisoner on the boat (played by Tommy Lister) can be seen with tattoos on his neck with the design and pattern of The Black Mask.” We all saw him and would recognize him and he would make a great villain. He could go through kidnapping Lucius Fox and the whole storyline that goes along with that and includes Tattoo. I feel like a woman should be brought in, and I think the best choice is Catwoman(1:Penelope Cruz 2:Emily Blunt), although Harley Quinn (played by Mila Kunis) could be a nice extension of Joker’s creepiness. But Fox hinted towards Catwoman when he told Batman that his suit would hold up against cats…so maybe thats the way they go. I also think Harvey Dent will play a small role similar to what the Scarecrow was in TDK.
Just as an aside: people that think some villains are not do-able in Nolan’s world are forgetting how he interpreted the Scarecrow into his world and made it believable. He can make anything work for him.
Also, to add to the Riddler debate, though I doubt he is in the next movie, my choice of actor would be David Hyde Pierce. He is only 49 and looks much younger.
Note the obvious: Here is an article from 8-21-07 about “Mister Reese” (Mysteries?) from TDK… it pretty much tells you who the next villain is:
“Anthony Michael Hall is not someone created for the film (like ‘Rachel Dawes’). His character is from the comic books and is rather well known. I know you don’t do spoilers, so let’s just say he seems to be good, but is really bad, or it could be the other way around — it’s quite the ‘mystery.’ The fans will definately [sic] get a kick out of his appearance in the film!”
Then, on the same day:
“Hall’s character is intensely jealous of Bruce Wayne. He even has an exactly matching Lamborghini Murcielago. The character learns of Bruce Wayne’s true identity as Batman and plans to use the GCN to blow the whistle on him.”
It looks like parts from the 2nd quote did not show in the movie. This is because either (1) the report was wrong or (2) there wasn’t room for it in the movie. But I will say this… I just watched TDK again, asking myself if this guy looks like the Riddler, and the answer for me was YES.
My choices:
Robin · Mos Def
Catwoman · Angelina Jolie
Riddler · Adrien Brody
Penguin · Phillip Seymour Hoffman
Ivy Poison · Vera Farmiga
Mad Hatter · Paul Giamatti
Harley Quinn · Renée Zellweger
Freeze · Ben Kingsley
WHAT DO YOU THINK’
I’ve got a feeling that if Nolan et. al. make a third film, we won’t get a mainstream villain — no Riddler, no Penguin, no Mr. Freeze, no Two-Face (he’s dead, and will stay dead). Considering the way TDK ended, I can see the new baddie being a new vigilante on the scene in Gotham, but one who takes the step Batman won’t take, and that is to kill. It would kind of be like The Reaper from Batman Year Two in the comics, but doesn’t have to necessarily be that character. The resurrected Jason Todd does the same thing — targets the bad guys, but will kill them as much as apprehend them. Quite obviously, the film franchise isn’t far enough into the Batman-verse to make Jason work, but they can certainly make The Reaper work. Given the liberties the Nolan crew has taken with some of the characters, and how there are several different influences in each of them, this could be a good way to use Hush. In the comics, Tommy Elliot’s motivation is really getting revenge on Batman; what better way to do it that to off a bunch of the Gotham underworld, and have society blame the killings on Batman?
BTW, Catwoman, as another character who straddles the line between good and evil (witness her role The Long Halloween), would fit nicely into this kind of storyline, as a minor character.
If they plan on replacing Ledger’s Joker I would go for Benicio Del Toro I believe he would play an excellent killer clown…and he looks crazy
The Mad Hatter! But not the paedophile, old dwarf persona, more of a teenager whose obsession for the Alice books have made him reject authority and rules and wants to bring Gotham into chaos, in hope that it will cause other cities to fall with it.
[…] own Batman casting call a while back generated numerous suggestions for Catwoman, ranging from Milla Jovovich (Kris’ […]
Richard O’Brien as Mr Freeze.
I think Catwoman would be a good addition to the next movie, considering one of the themes for the next movie will deal with Bruce Wayne coping with a dual identity. There’s a love connection between Bruce and Selina but they just can’t be together for obvious reasons. Riddler would also be good for the same theme, maybe figure out Batman identity and use it against him.
Johnny Depp would be a great Riddler. He can play that cool, calm, charismatic, but evil character. He could also pull off the Joker part if it were a very minor role and no close-ups. Be great if they could work Harley Quinn in, Zooey Deschanel would be perfect. If Poison Ivy, Alicia Witt would be great. And I’m down to four on Catwoman and can’t make up my mind: Shannyn Sossamon, Rachel Weisz, Olivia Wilde, or Connie Nielsen
The main antagonist of the next movie is going to be the cops hunting Batman. Meanwhile a serial killer whom the newspapers dub the Riddler (after receiving coded messages) terrifies the city with random gruesome murders. Anything less would be laughed at in the wake of the Joker anything more would be to similar.
He’s the only plausible villain to uncover what Harvey did and have name recognition to get non comic fans in the theater.
Penguin can be just a nickname for a mob boss. Christopher Meloni as any one who saw him on OZ knows is spot on casting (he’s already played an arrogant, intelligent, violent, sociopath) as is Bob Hoskins.
Alright i like the guys idea of the riddler. However, i think that we need to introduce nightwing, although give him a new backround than in the comics. Have him go against batman and be a hero in the publics eye and batman be the villian. Introduce Poison Ivey as a eco terroris angaint some the the mob bosses such as Penguin and his higherd thung Bane. If anyone wants to here my idea just let me know and i’ll post it.
the problem with spiderman 3 wasn’t with too many villians, it was just a horable movie. Think about it. Peter had the venom suit, making him increadbly stronger. He needed to defeat a cast a villians to prove that point. The movie itself just sucked. Anyway the cast for villians i propose in thes movie are in the next comment
James McAvory all the way for the role of Rick Grayson/Nightwing…I think if it is going to be a trilogy…Nolan should incorporate nightwing somehow…hes a way much cooler character than robin and would fit perfectly in Nolan’s darker universe of Batman. The whole robin and boy wonder reference could be Richard’s stage name while still being in the circus and then the death of his parents leads him on a path to revenge and eventually becoming Gotham’s new hero. This would leave potential to create more films featuring nightwing if bale and nolan dont want to continue the batman story…but they should…def the best batman by far! and I think johnny deep has the potential to be a creepy riddler.
If not the riddler Nolan should def bring out an intense villian never seen before…I mean we dont wana go back to the villians weve seen already in the pretty ridiculous 90’s movies haha but they did do an amazing job with both the joker and two-face in dark knight lol
Just to throw and idea around. I was flipping channels the other day and saw Rihanna. She looks like a Catwoman. She probably cannot act, but if she could I think they could darken her down enough to make a really good catwoman.
I just do not want to see another third movie disaster like “Spiderman 3” or even the third movie in the last series of Batman movies. They were dissappointing.
I want to see Patrick Stewart as Mr. Freeze. Check out the following site for a trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxjdSyIOwc0
or
http://www.capedcrusadermovie.com/
“Suddenly the name Christina Hendricks (the sleek redheaded secretary from Mad Men) popped into my head. I haven’t been able to get it out since.”
That….would be the curviest Catwoman ever. But she’s a fine actress, and smoking hot, so I certainly wouldn’t complain. If her stock rises in a few movie roles in the next few years, it could become a possibility.
Stop thinking of james mccavoy he is too ‘green’ to be a suprvillian and also meloni will not be good for riddler they should use jim carrey again!
i like to see wrath as the next villain and maybe call it batman fall of the dark night. because he still is trying to work on his reputation with gotham citizens. and wrath is the compleet opposite of batman
I agree with the cast line up except for the joker. Keep the joker as johnny depp everyone else is perfect to their villain.
i think that sarah michelle gellar as harley quinn
with a mask and with the whole costume,.. make
her breasts bigger,.. and with halle berry as catwoman,.. in the batman begins3 the dark knight 3 2011 movie and with crispin glover as
the joker, and with robin willams as the riddler,
and with micheal ansara as mr.freeze, and with natalie portman as mad hatter, and with reba mcentire as poison ivy,…
i want micheal ansara to be mister freeze ,
because he has talent in his voice and he has a recipe for revenge, and i want him to be in the dark knight 3 movie, with sarah michelle gellar as harley quinn, with the whole costume, and with halle berry catwoman, and with hugh laurie as the mad hatter, and with aaron eckhart as two face, and with jack palance as carl grissom, and with crispin glover as the joker, and with the gotham city thugs, and with tobey maguire as spider-man, and with tails miles prower tailsko, please, you guys, she has to be in the movie,
i want reba mcentire to be poison ivy, in the batman 3 movie in 2010 with crispin glover as the joker, in the movie, and with aaron eckhart as two face,… in the movie,.,.. and with sarah michelle gellar as
harley quinn in th movie and with halle berry as catwoman in the movie, and with robin williams as the riddler,.. in the movie,.. and with micheal ansara as mister freeze,..
I think there are way too many villains in the Batman world and not enough movies for them all. I would like them to keep it just to the three movies, so many villains won’t be used.
I think that to make this movie atleast close to as good as TDK was, then the Riddler and Penguin should definitely be in it. Catwoman, maybe, but i dont want her taking too much of the spotlight.
I think Robin should be in it. He was a huge part of the old Batman series, so shouldn’t be left out of this. And i think they should show what happened to the Joker, like being locked up in the assylum, but that is it. Two-face should be dead and i hope they keep it that way.
The smaller villains shouldn’t be used. Not everyone who wants to see Batman3 will know their stories or who they are, so they should keep it to the main people.
uhh, I THINK THE FLASH SHOULD BE IN IT. AND BATMAN KILLS FLASH.
DEFNITLY SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR SHOULD BE A VILLIAN, SHE IS PERFECT FOR THE ROLE OF HARLET QUINN, POISON IV OR CATWOMEN !!!!!
No Two Face..didnt like him that much. I think he should explore the threesome Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and Catwoman like in the series, “Gotham City Sirens” or at least use two of them. I loveeeeee all three characters very much!!!They are all very good addatives to the Nolan Universe! I also like the idea the idea of the Riddler! I think adding Robin might work, but it has to be done perfectly or it won’t work..batgirl, maybe in the fourth or fifth if there are more. There are just too many characters and not enough movies…
i think that brittany murphy will make a harley quinn but i want her as big grown big breasted harley quinn in the gotham city batman 3 movie, and with johnny depp asw the riddler in the movie, and marion colliatard as catwoman in the movie, yes, do it, and with bale as batman in the movie, yes, do it, and with crispin glover as the joker in the movie gotham city batman 3 movie, yes, do ti,
This is how it should have been.
Crispin Glover – Joker
Joaquin Phoenix – Two-Face
Johnny Depp – Riddler
Charlize Theron – Catwoman
Tim Curry – Penguin
Brad Dourif – Scarecrow
Gary Oldman – Ras Al Ghul
