I’d call Nick Davis’ writeup on Annette Bening a lot more than just “a big ole’ love letter.”
It has an impressive analysis of her technique and career. He has a whole series on Best Actress contenders and they’re all worth reading.
Of course you’re right, but obviously it wasn’t a slight to merely write “a big ole’ love letter.”
Someone should take Scott Feinberg’s calculator away before he hurts himself.
I think the people who’s jobs depend on putting on the Oscars, the network trying to garner good ratings for future telecasts, and the millions of viewers devoting their Sunday evenings to watching care if the Oscars are good or not.
I think the point he’s making is that the network trying to garner good ratings for future telecasts, and the millions of viewers devoting their Sunday evenings to watching will all wake up the next day if the Oscars happen to suck.
And the resurgence of Annette Bening’s buzz has began. YEEEES!!!!!! l
I think pont Jesse is trying to make is that he’s not being honest.
Believe me Kris, I’ll wake up Monday regardless, but, since I know you’re a football fan: If your team goes 0-16, you’ll make it to February in one piece, but it doesn’t mean that having “the worst team in the history of football” doesn’t matter.
I care more about football than I do about the Oscars, I assure you. But I hear you.
