I’m probably just revealing how juvenile I am here, but “… and Goat” cracked me up.
It’d be better if Bridges remained as po-faced as the others, though.

Love it. Just delightful.

Can we please kill the fucking Saul Bass wanna-be lettering already? Thanks!

Does anyone know what the symbols mean? My thought was, goat, Satan… I have no idea how that is related to the film but that was my only thought.
Erik
hm… i thought Clooney and McGregor were co-leads and Bridges and Spacey supporting. Interesting switch between Bridges and McGregor. Anyone know if that makes any sense, considering screentime etc? Are they just setting up an oscar campaign here? (McGregor for supporting, cuz he sure aint getting in for lead. Or maybe Bridges for lead?!?)
Jim: The symbols feature in the film. I won’t explain how, but it’s nothing Satanic.

“… and featuring Goat as Goat!”

Clooney, Bridges, Mcgregor, Spacey and goat.
HAHA! The poster looks good. Can’t wait for the movie to come out.
Btw, from the trailer of “The Informant!”: Damon, Soderbergh and CORN.
A coincidence?
Bob McBob
the goat deserves top billing
Monique
Love the tagline: “No Goats, No Glory”

i laughed out loud. This poster, for any other film, would be terrible. But the designer of it gets that this is the most ridiculous tittle ever and just ran with it. THIS POSTER IS ONE I NEED TO HAVE

Is this film better then a mild diversion??
Any Best Picture possibilities??

After triumph appearances in the films 300 and Drag Me To Hell, The Goat returns to cinemas!
Well, it’s more than a “mild” diversion — it’s terrific fun, after all — but it’s still very lightweight stuff. No Best Picture chances that I can see.

Poster of the year.

Like the poster. Embracing silliness. Strange choice to bill McGregor after Bridges, though.
Unrelated, but it looks like Sharlto Copley found himself a new role – as Murdoch in the A-Team.
Jesse
Awesome poster.

I’ve been getting similar vibes from this film as I’ve been getting from The Informat! Are they about on par with each other?
Font looks like “Burn After Reading”, the way the heads are put together has been done in way so many films before. “Cecil B. Demented”, and I think “Syriana” also did this.
Anything else?
Love the idea of it and the central strip in the middle is wonderful, but the rest of it is dirge. The Saul Bass imitations are getting worse and worse.

i’m not sold.
Hate this poster.
Does that mean the Goat is now officially in the race for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar?
Hilarious. Has a definite “Burn After Reading” vibe going on.
Kris…think you can bump off Billy Murray in your supporting actor category for “The Goat”??
It would just be so much fun to see “The Goat” up there on the list…
I usually don’t like ‘floating heads’ posters, but this takes that format and uses it for a joke. Applause!
Love it.
I’m not sold either.
