Agreed, great poster but it needs Moore out of it.

So you get Michael Moore’s name printed twice, and in case you forget, there he is.

I’m sorry if Im breaking Hollywood rules in asking this question but will someone tell me when exactly capitalism became a bad thing?

If this poster had a little more emphasis on the “love story”, like maybe having hearts fly out of the money bag, and maybe a different color than yellow, then I’d really love this poster. Very Saul Bass-ian though, gotta have at least one of those a year.

It’s a Michael Moore documentary. He’s the star. He should be on the poster.

This looks like a fictitious poster by a fictitious filmmaker.

Is that supposed to be Clinton or Bush with his back to us? Hmm….interesting. :)

I like that Moore is there. A Moore doc without Moore front and center wouldn’t be the same.

I know a lot of people hate him, but at least he gets us talking.

Wells is the blithering idiot. Anybody with eyes can see that Moore is totally incongruous with the style of the rest of the poster. My complaint has nothing to do with using him to sell the movie, it’s with using shitty photoshop and destroying an otherwise aesthetically pleasing poster in the process.

Moore is on there – and his name more than once – because he is the key selling point of the movie. We wouldn’t be harping on if this were fiction and Paul Giamatti and his slobby self was standing there.

Shockingly – especially to, apparently, a lot of people here – this movie is a documentary and they generally don’t make much money, so why would getting rid of Moore from the advertising help? He does have two films in the top five highest grossing documentaries of all time after all.

Some people just don’t understand movie marketing at all.

Chad I agree 100%, w/ Moore poster is great with him, meh.

Also the guy with the money should have been a little less realistic, like Burn After Reading or Informant!

Wait a minute; you’re telling me that Michael Moore is in that movie. I don’t remember seeing his name or likeness on the poster. Let me see that poster again…

    …well I’ll be.
