The latest trailer for Ridley Scott’s “Body of Lies” is a giant step up from the first crack Warner marketing took at it. It simultaneously injects complexity and amplifies the scale of the pic. The concentration on the DiCaprio/Crowe dynamic is certainly front and center here, showing us more of the material Crowe has to chew on.

Better then the first trailer but it still doesn’t look like it is anything special, althought Crowe looks like he has a fun role.
My analysis:
If “American Gangster” didn’t get Oscar Nominations besiude critical support and oscarish theme, why this film will get better luck?
I don’t say this is a bad film, but this hasn’t anything special for consideration. Maybe Editing and Sound Mixing Nominations
I’ve relegated it to supporting actor, sound mixing, sound editing and film editing ever since that first trailer. I guess an outside shot exists for adapted screenplay, but that depends…on a lot.
Leo is miscast.
Nothing beats Ridley’s Kingdom of Heaven teaser trailer. Nothin’.
Also, trailer suggests way more action than what’s in the script, however, Zallian may have added a few actions scenes here and there.
Doesn’t look like Oscar material aside from the names involved. Does look fun though. Scott is one of my favorite director’s of the moment simply because his films are so darn entertaining.
Crowe looks very good, maybe even nomination-worthy. Aside from that, meh.
The new trailer is better than the first one but I still think a movie dealing with the “middle eastern terror theme”or anything about the Iraq War will have a hard time getting any best picture nods.I still think some people are still a little wary about these types of films being that they potray current events,ie.Rendition,A Mighty Heart,The Kingdom,Stop Loss.
Trailer playing during Olympics should be dubbed when Di Caprio asks to send a team “ammediately”. When is that? LOL
