The closing credits list all the people involved in the making of the actual film. If the film’s creators and studio is behind this, it is a genius viral marketing move.
“There would be no eulogies for BooBoo, no photographs of his body would be sold in sundries stores, no people would crowd the streets in the rain to see his funeral cortege, no biographies would be written about him, no cubs named after him, no one would ever pay twenty-five cents to stand in the caves he grew up in.”
You guys think this is genius? I think it’s the type of lame throw two pop culture things together that Seltzer/Friedberg get off on, albeit done with a slightly more adept hand.

Chad, not all parodies are bad. This is a successful parody. Comprende?
Also, as Angry Shark, the animation of the eyes is astonishing, as is their look. The way Boo Boo’s eyes dart to the rifle is priceless.

This made my day.
I’m speechless. Wow.
I just noticed the fine print in the end which is basically impossible to read. Hopefully the studio does not take this down!
WTF! Okay, now I actually want to see the movie.
Brilliant… that was fantastic.
This shouldn’t be the alternative ending. It’s hilarious!
Come late December (or whenever this thing opens) watch critics do the same…
It’s no Country for Yogi Bear.
Ok, I’m out.
this owns. The animation of the eyes is particularly impressive, conveying enormous quantities of emotion.
That was fast:

Love this user’s comment on YT,

This made me think three things:
1. Damn, is this really footage from “Yogi Bear?” The animation is better than some big budget productions.
2. I need to watch “The Assassination of Jesse James…” again.
3. That Cave & Ellis score is sooooooooooo good.
HA. The rug is a cruel and perfect addition.
Fantastic.
Genius! “Before he could find the right words”
Every time I watch that scene from the film, my eyes well up in tears. Truly breathtaking filmmaking…and this is an awesome homage!
this just killed my childhood. thank you for making my therapy session tomorrow actually be worth my 150 bucks!!
very very impressed.

Oh and also, I came on the ceiling yet again.
Chad the problem is Seltzer/Friedberg actually try to make feature films with this concept and that is absurd. A two minute short is fine.
Trust me I would not want to see a three hour version of The Assassination of Yogi Bear by the Coward Booboo. Two minutes though is perfect.
But Matthew, just think of the buildup!
Ha I wonder how many people even saw the film this is parodying. Well done, regardless!
This scene was more satisfying than the whole movie will ever be.
It’s the rug that does it. Awesome.
i recently interviewed the creator of the video Edmund Earle. cool guy. http://www.figurethingsout.com/2010/12/17/an-interview-with-the-creator-of-yogi-bear-parody-booboo-kills-yogi-edmund-earle/
