Brother of Pat Tillman, subject of the documentary “The Tillman Story.” From the September 24 episode of “Real Time,” a fantastic interview (and if I heard Maher correctly, his only appearance to promote the film):
By the way, from the same episode (despite the error in plot description):
New Rule: If they’re going to make a historical epic full of British actors in period costumes about Queen Elizabeth II helping her father get over his speech impediment, why bother having the Oscars at all? You win. Unless someone in America is making a movie where Meryl Streep teaches Anne Frank how to box, we give up.

Is Queen Elizabeth even in the movie? OR helping her father?
I see what he was trying to go for but…
I’m sorry, but I don’t feel one ounce of sympathy for the Tillman family anymore. They have spit on their son and brother’s grave, by engaging in conspiracy theories and being strung along by opportunistic Leftists. I understand Richard got emotional at the funeral, but he sure is carrying that little tirade out to the fullest. For crying out loud, Pat didn’t even want a funeral; which goes to show you how much his family respected his wishes (or lack there of more specifically).
I’m sure you’re more of an authority on the situation than the Tillmans, Sam.
Steven: Yes, as a little girl in a couple of scenes.
He is, Kris.
Funny quote.
I’d rather the family do this than sit back and watch the US Government lie about a soldiers death and then use it as propoganda for the war….
If, by somehow or someway, were to killed in a similar way during the upcoming deployment, I would certainly hope that my family would show the same anger. Letting the US Government get a free pass on this, much like our economic woes, is clearly wrong.
Sorry to bring politics into this Kris. I enjoyed the funeral speech, though. And by the looks of it, Richard bringing a beer to the funeral seemed to be a big middle finger to even having the funeral in the first place, so I’m not sure if you can put the blame squarely on the family.
I have to say I don’t particularly like the Tillmans, but I really, really hate government propaganda designed to justify immoral wars, so even though I think Rich Tillman has always come across as an arrogant prick, I say more power to him.
