Yeah, this is the pre-screening image for all the Un Certain Regard screenings. I’ve now mused several times with fellow critics about why they chose this image to represent UCR, given that Tim Burton isn’t even president of that jury — my beloved Claire Denis is. Replace it with a “Beau Travail” still, stat!
It is a nice pic, though.
