Why does every time something big and cool and exciting like this happen as a movie promo, everyone thinks it’s a waste of money?

This was one of the few promo / press events that I thought was absolutely fantastic, from the coordination to the people there, everything about it was great. One of the best promos I’ve ever seen.

While it’s a pretty clever and fitting marketing stunt, I always find this sort of pandering to the press kinda embarrassing.. but I guess that’s the name of the game, not that I think a film of Up in the Air’s caliber really needs to stoop to it to get the word out.

Why is it that Chad Hartigan is a douche on every comment board he is on? Always an opinion, never any reasoning. Pure internet snark. Chad, if you love doing that, why don’t you just go to AICN and troll the talkbacks. They love that shit.
