An invitation to dinner

In case you were wondering, these British (but American-accented) critters apparently celebrate Thanksgiving. Globalization is happening everywhere you look. Anyway, cute marketing gimmick — click the image for fun and games. More “Fantastic Mr. Fox” talk to come tomorrow, from the press junket I attended last month. You seen the film yet?

I know you and Kris were a bit cool but I’m very surprised that the movie has opened to tremendous critical acclaim. Anderson’s films are too quirky and they usually divide critics, but this movie may go down as his most unanimously liked and 1 of the most acclaimed films of the year. Are you surprised?

Not really. It’s a hard film to dislike.

    And I do think it’s Anderson’s best.

In regards to Animation, I just read a piece on Adam Elliot (the director of Harvey Krumpet and Mary & Max) that had this wonderful line “he sent 92 letters to those in the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, including signed production stills scented with Fendi perfume.” That’s dedicated!

Wonderful. Do you have a link to the piece?
