You probably know we’ve been following the upcoming adaptation of DC Comics’ “Jonah Hex” pretty closely around these parts. It’s the intersection of westerns and comic books. How could I not be all over that? Then again, despite having each of the 40-some issues of the recently re-booted “Jonah Hex” comics series, I’ve only read one or two. Maybe I should dig into those things.
Anyway, courtesy of I’m Not Obsessed today (via Cinematical), on the heels of some ooh-la-la shots of Megan Fox that landed a few weeks ago, we finally have our first look at Josh Brolin as the title character. Check it out (one more image after the jump):

Badassssss. He seems to have walked out of a Howard Hawks western.
awesome, can’t wait… I recently got John Hex Showcase Vol. 1 but havent read it yet. Its the early JH stuff, but after I get acquainted with the character I will buy the newer TPB.
The left side of his face should be more scarred.
He’s a baaaaaaaad man! Can’t wait to see this one. I hope it receives a hard R rating. Enough of this PG-13 for more money crap. Do it right!
That looks like a onesie with a belt around it. Not badass.
I was hoping they would go this route with the Two-Face make-up in DARK KNIGHT. This looks so much more realistic. IT would have been so much better if they used this type of make-up for THE DARK KNIGHT. That CGI CRAP on TWO FACE was embarassing.
