The POLL could be about Kate Winslet. Will she receive a lead actress nomination for RR, or for The Reader?

Something Christmas related perhaps?

How about if the current frontrunners for Best Picture: Benjamin Button, Slumdog, Frost, Milk, Dark Knight get nominated, which will the Academy most likely award for Best Picture? (Not the critics choice, not our personal choice but the Academy)
Will critical favorite Slumdog win? (even if its a mostly foreign affair – actors, unknowns etc…?)
Will Benjamin Button win? (even if critical response is relatively cool?)
Will Frost/Nixon win? (even if box office and youth dont seem interested?)
Will Milk win? (even if it’s themes make it risque?)
Will The Dark Knight win (even if its a comic-book blockbuster)?

How about a poll from the readership of which filmmakers who have never been NOMINATED for a Best Director Oscar, are the most deserving of the recognition??

You might want to limit the poll to only “living” filmmakers to make it more relevant.

I think we did one of those over the summer, actually.
How about, who gave the best supporting performance in Milk?
