FYI, with “Gran Torino” bowing tonight in front of Los Angeles press, I thought it best to hold off on a chart update until Tuesday once again. Next week we should be back on the Monday track as “Seven Pounds” unveils later in the week, the final pieces of the puzzle sliding into place.

Posting a reaction tonight I hope? I’ve heard the script is terrible and laughable.
I reviewed the script in this space, actually. It has some problems but apparently Eastwood did some improvising on the set.
I’ll knock off a quick reaction from the event I’m sure.
something tells me that Clint wouldn’t waste his time on a “terrible” or “laughable” script.
I hope it turns out well. I love Clint and am looking forward to seeing it for myself (unfortunately I can’t make the screening I planned on attending tomorrow), but those were the opinions of a writer friend of mine (re: the script) not my own, for the record. ^
Interested to hear what you think of the final product, Kris.
What I hate about the Oscars is giving out wins/nominations for past work. I hope Clint earns it if he gets it…whatever that may be. Looks to me though like he’s his typical misanthropic tough guy here.
