I was a big fan of Peter Sollett’s NYU student film “Five Feet High and Rising” and doubly impressed when he expanded those ideas in 2002 as “Raising Victor Vargas.” So count me in for the upcoming “Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist,” which gets a trailer today:

That trailer made me fall in love with the film. As did the poster. It looks so adorable but honest at the same time. I’m sold.
I’m intrigued I loved “Raising Victor Vargas” and this looks like it could be a smart version of “Superbad” I just hope it is as good as the trailer is.
Ugh. Awful. Looks like a “Coming Soon To DVD” trailer, not something you’d stick in the theaters.
They even used the same font from the Juno campaign. Give me a break.
The movie looks unconvincing and bland. Pass.
