Just curious. I’ve been going with the hyphen, and I’m certainly not going to cut and paste the dot every time. Some outlets are going with the asterisk.

I prefer the hyphen as well. It looks more symmetrical to me.

Saw this today. Absolute masterpiece, as well as Pixar’s best. Might be Disney’s best, as well.
Oh what the heck, I’ll just say it. “Wall-E” is, in my opinion, the greatest animated film ever made. And I’ve seen over 30 of them.
It’s a hyphen, just stylized (as wikipedia would say). In all their print material disney uses “-” not “*”
