David Fincher’s “The Social Network” may be a firm fixture in my top 10, but any critics organization that opts out of flowing through the season like sheep is alright by me. Yesterday, the Phoenix set joined those thin ranks by going with “The King’s Speech” for it’s Best Picture victor.

Phoenix here, AAFCA here. Additionally, “Winter’s Bone” won the top honor with the San Diego critics. Check out that intriguing list of winners here. Still waiting to hear what won Best Documentary and Best Foreign Language Film, though. Moving right along…
