On the top 10 wrestlers: What about Tor Johnson (George the Animal Steele) from the Tim Burton film Ed Wood??

Are you nuts? That “Guardian” article about DiCaprio insulted him. How was that “nice”? Geez, the guy can’t get a break this year, let alone a nomination. And I’m sick of the constant “he looks too young.”
Yet another deeply relevant essay on Leonardo DiCaprio´s youthful looks. And, really, why does he insist on looking so DiCaprio-like when it clearly pisses so many people off? Destruction is easy. What in God´s name is he waiting for?
I personally think SAG should ban him from acting until he agrees to wash his face with acid. Especially after Winslet´s Globe speech, which was basically provoked by DiCaprio´s physionomy, according to The Guardian´s cunning David Thomson.
Brilliant actor, DiCaprio. Decent man. Shame about the surface.
It’s amazing. DiCaprio has to be the only actor on earth cursed with youthful looks. Most of Hollywood would do anything to look younger.
I thought the Thompson essay was pretty shallow actually.
That article was pathetic.
Yes, obviously DiCaprio needs to do some hard drugs or at least become a semi or full fledged alcoholic like Bogey or Holden, get into some real fist fights, and probably get two or three divorces under his belt before he can be authentic enough for Mr. Thompson. Still, I don’t disagree that DiCaprio has not completely fulfilled the phenomenal promise he showed as a very young actor, perhaps as much because he became a huge star instead of wallowing around a little longer in the indies and finding his niche there. But I agree with a statement someone made I recently read somewhere, the gist of which was — “nothing really happens, ’til it must!” I totally agree. DiCaprio’s time will come, when it must.
