As a nice break from the cynicism of Oscar season, I’ve been following “God of Love” director Luke Matheny on Twitter and delighting in his head-in-the-clouds, it’s-all-happening ride. At his blog he’s been posting some nice candids from the Nominees Luncheon. Godspeed to him, however the short film race turns out.

I saw him today! Said hi, congratulations, etc. However the race turns out, you’re right, it couldn’t have happened to a nicer/cooler guy.
Thanks for posting this.
And the nominated shorts have hit iTunes and On Demand. Perfect timing.
You can also vote for your favorites on the site (God of Love, Day & Night, and Poster Girl are leading thus far)
