It seems the Oakley 3d glasses mentioned by Cinemtatical are to be used for Real 3D presentations… I know that is the most commonly used in theaters, but you would think Disney would want to make sure there would be some Tron gear for their Disney Digital 3D.

That sounds like quite a feat, Kris. How did you manage to get exclusive rights for something that elusive?

    Just joking.

And as for the Fighter, I know Lodge is predicting Russell for best director but will Thompson even consider the possibility? She seems to know more about this situation then she’s willing to say.

Elle and Dakota are both extraordinary talents. Dakota’s the more daring one, but Elle seems more natural.

As in, you’ll hear it on the podcast before you read it in the usual column, Maxim.

Does Wahlberg get a nomination for best picture if the fighter gets in?

How about Kirsten Dunst for All Good Things? She’s been receiving a decent amount of buzz lately over her performance. Maybe a Best Supporting nom?

I actually was quite surprised by how much liked the fighter. The trailer doesn’t quite sell it and makes it look like a very violent dark film. Christian Bale deserves an OSCAR
