I’m guessing Tomei will be the one getting bumped? As a huge admirer of “The Wrestler,” I can’t see anyone being THAT taken with her admittedly good performance.
Well, Bates is in the conversation, more than I would have anticipated. I don’t think I’ll be making a top 5 change yet.

If they left in the scene with her crying in the bedroom – in my opinion, the most powerfully written scene in a really overjuiced book – she’s definitely in. I took her off my predictions because I heard from someone who had read the script that this scene wasn’t in it… Is it?
