I’m not sure if the partnership between Smith and Muccino should really be encouraged — this looks about as earnestly competent as “The Pursuit of Happyness,” but that’s not much to get excited about.
And the metaphorical use of the phrase “broken wing” should really be banned from here on out.

This just looks like…umm how do I put this politely without upsetting those who subscribe to the church of Will Smith? – It looks like crap that usually gets ignored by the Academy (and usually general audiences) but I won’t deny the power of Will Smith to charm the pants off people so I won’t be surprised if it’s a success with everyone.
Ah maybe I’m being too cynical. Maybe this film will be really great and warrant some attention from the Academy.

havent seen the trailer becuase it was removed for COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT????
I don’t understand why something that is advertising/promoting the movie would be removed for copyright infringement. Can someone who knows the business well explain this to me?

Looks…I don’t know…strange…odd…don’t know what to make of this film…
One year it’s The Bucket List, the next year it’s Seven Pounds. Should we expect a similar disappointment?
I thought it looked fantastic. Puhleeze people – you’re all so cynical!

Studios are stubborn, Sean. They want stuff released on their schedule.
Anyway, if you saw it, congrats. I actually didn’t see it yet, so…oh well.
Watch the trailer for “The Pursuit of Happyness” again, Sean — it’s close enough.
