Armond White gave a classic review for Up In The Air. i havent seen the film yet but the review had me rolling.
In case it doesn’t get said often enough, Natalie Portman is ridiculously pretty.
Please tell me that Lee Daniels called the police after that “healing” confession.
Maybe when she had her short hair, but now not so much.
i agree Guy, and she is the best american actress currently working and has a great personality.
Best American actress currently working? I like Natalie Portman, but Laura Linney wins that for me in a walk.
Plus, call this a technicality, but Portman is Israeli-born. Don’t know if she ever became an American citizen.
Natalie Portman has a lot of lackluster performances. I don’t think she can be considered the best American actress working with that type of inconsistency.
“Don’t know if she ever became an American citizen.”
She did. For one thing, she would not be able to keep working in Hollywood for this long if she didn’t.
