Gorgeous. I guess I’m in the minority but I love Hilary Swank and think her wins were well deserved. I’m excited for this movie.

I think her first win was tremendously well-deserved, even against Bening. But her second win should absolutely have gone to Winslet (and Winslet’s to Melissa Leo, but I digress). The trailer just gives me the vibe of the annual hollow biopic (not that I expect Invictus to be any deeper).

Richard Gere looks like he just stepped out of “Chicago” and jumped into this movie.
a biopic takes inspired casting. Hilary Swank as Amelia? Morgan Freeman as Mandela? uninspired. obvious.
Anne Hathaway as Judy Garland? Now THAT is a biopic i will be able to get behind when it happens.
I will suport Hilary until death. She gave one of the best performances of all time in Boy’s Don’t Cry and was the best thing about Million Dollar Baby.

She looks great, but I have to concur that I have no interest in this movie. My female colleagues, on the other hand, are primed for it. It could be a hit with one half of the public.

Hilary Swank seems like a ‘hit’ or ‘miss’ actress with a lot people. I, for one, am a fan and supporter. I’m definitely looking forward to this film.

I am just not looking forward to this one. At all.
I’m a little bored of this actress’s short hair…and this movie is so “I want to win Oscars” that it can’t move a simple muscle in me to see it.
I am rooting for this movie to fail considerably. The madness has to stop eventually.
