Awesome.
I’d venture to say that this use of John Legend’s “Shine” (although a little too literal at times) was the first time the song actually resonated with me. It just didn’t really sing where it was placed in the movie.
Really great to see doc work from the past year. I know it couldn’t include everything, but Marwencol should have been in there. My favourite documentary of the year.
Needed just a little more “Exit” for my taste, byt still very well done, though it’s one of the few times I didn’t find a “Social Network” clip welcome.
