I read something yesterday about the Weinstein Company making sequels for some old movies, including Bad Santa, Rounders and Shakespeare in Love. Not sure how that would turn out.

If they are making Shakespeare in Love 2 then the least I could expect is the sequel to Saving Private Ryan.

And I’m not talking any of that ‘Defending Colonel Ryan’ or “Prt. Ryan: The Vietnam Years” business you might be thinking of. Or even, Private Vengance: No Saving from Ryan.

I’m talking “How I Earned This: The Story of Ryan” and man, this stuff just writes itself.

And yes, I am joking. And doing so quite lovingly.
