LexG can be annoying at times but this was pretty good fun, nice one.

Yeah, I laughed a lot at this one. He’s kinda right, isn’t he? haha. Never thought about it before: soooo many waif blondes lying around, movie after movie.

This guy annoyed me at first, especially the way he pronounced “Coppola.” I don’t know the correct way, but while googling I found a likely Italian guy pronouncing it differently than him.
But then he made a really good point about Coppola’s films having the common theme of rich people lounging. I resisted liking him, but, by the end he won me over. Of course, if he was played by and oiled-up Taylor Lautner, he would have had my attention the whole time.

he loved his ennui reference

While I freely admit I’m jealous that I don’t have a video posted on this or any other comparable film website, I really didn’t see what was “great” or “fun” about that one. I mean, for one thing, the guy hasn’t seen the movie. I also didn’t find it particularly witty or insightful, not nearly as much as Lex apparently did. Bear in mind, I’m no trying to rag on the guy. He seems perfectly interesting and knowledgeable, but I just didn’t see anything special about it. And if people are saying things like “usually I’m not crazy about him, but this one was good,” then it doesn’t bode well for his past efforts. Nevertheless, it will perhaps motivate me to get off my ass and be more pro-active in my own pursuit for film journalist glory.
