I assume Warner Bros. will start screening Clint Eastwood’s “Hereafter” (which opens a month from today) to the Los Angeles crowd when their good and ready. Still waiting (and still intrigued, despite some less-than-stellar early reviews). Reaction out of Toronto was ultimately quite split, you’ll recall. Today we get a look at the new poster for the film. Check it out after the jump.

Yikes. That does the film no favours — it looks like a book cover from the particularly cheap end of the Christian publishing market.
Interesting. Might they be trying to lure in Halloween audiences with this poster? Damon looks… unnatural.
I’m surprised Clint Eastwood’s name isn’t bigger. Are they not wanting to sell it on his name or something?
Looks like they took a stock publicity photo of Damon from “The Talented Mr. Ripley” or “Good Will Hunting”
i love it!!!
Matt Damon looks about 19 years old
He looks like he’s playing a vampire and/or werewolf.
Cruel and unusual. I guess that Eastwood already did a pretty damn good supernatural film with High Plains Drifter, but this… isn’t doing anything for me.
And hell, I liked Invictus.
Who’s that in the distance? It’s Saoirse Ronan! Matt Damon killed her! Again!
Anyone else think it’s odd that Bryce Dallas Howard isn’t even credited on the poster?
Uninspired…. I’ve seen that image looking through a horizon in a lot of movie posters a lot of times already… And they were better….
Cecile de France has been elevated above Bryce Dallas Howard who once starred in “Spider-Man 3”. Howard must be livid.
I get what they’re doing with the poster – making it look like a poster for JOHN EDWARD: THE MOVIE – but in the end that’s all it looks like and, let’s face it, who wants to see a John Edward movie?
Hahahah wow that’s awful!
Looks like a poster for a cheap Canadian sci fi TV show and those are the worst.
Now that Damon’s hair isn’t so short anymore (excluding The Informant!) he looks like late 90s Damon all over again.
Looks like his Rounders haircut.
