Itll take more then that Cameron
Doesn’t this come out in the fall? You’d think, with all the FX press and the plot secrecy, they’d at least have a trailer out now, or a poster, or even a screenshot. The concept art is cool, but I need more to wet the appetite.
And does anyone know what this is actually going to be about?
The first picture kind of looks like the concept art they released for Terminator Salvation…
So I guess this is Terminator Salvation meets Jurassic Park, judging from these photos.
Even just the concept art looks better than most movies do.
Everyone seems to be getting really excited for this, but I just can’t. At least not yet. I need to see something more than concept art and photos of Jim Cameron in front of a green screen. I hope this lives up to the hype. Hopefully, the trailer will show up in front of Transformers 2, and I can get excited.
the first photo reminds me of a cover for a mechwarrior game.

I think it was Dave Poland who wrote recently about how few movies that get December releases have trailers out in May, so it’s not rare.
A poster would be nice though.

Overhyping begins…
Yeah, we won’t see a trailer for this until October.
I don’t understand what all the hype about this is for? I just look at the guy in that ridiculous robot thing and giggle.
Well just look at that guy with your 3-D glasses on and you’ll be in awe. I hope.
You have to get excited about anything Cameron does as you could argue he is a genious when it comes to mainstream filmmaking.
I rememember going into NYC and seeing his directors cut of The Abyss. That extra footage really made the film a much more complete experience. Aliens- A classic. Titanic- Saw it 7 times in a theater. I have full confidence this will be groundbreaking.

I know it’s only concept art, then we’ll get crazy about the poster that releases sometime later in the summer & then we’ll nearly die over the trailer.
I’ll say Avatar is gonna be the landmark that Cameron is promising us.
@ Gustavo H.R. :
I meant effects-wise.
meh
It looks very familiar this pictures. Nothing new soo far.
It is possible that this movie doesn’t actually exist and we have all been taken for a ride?
Since Fox announced that the trailer isn’t going to be released with “Transformers 2”, when is the “Avatar” trailer going to be shown?
Already been answered Bob. Most movies released in December don’t get trailers half a year early.
