    Wow. The animation looks horrible, and Carrey, just based on the one line he says, will not be good.

    I liked the delivery of the line (for what it’s worth) but the animation looks very much like Beowulf. I liked Beowulf but I’d like this to be better.

    Looks GREAT. I absolutely LOVED Polar Express as a perennial Christmas classic (watch it every year) but personally didn’t care for Beowulf. This looks to be similar to the former. Anyway, I don’t think Carrey’s ever stepped wrong (not even in Number 23, even though the film was awful) and that certainly doesn’t seem to be the case here. We’ll have to see the whole thing though. Can’t wait.

    the animation looks straight out of a PlayStation ONE (!) game.

    Not a lot of reinterpretation as far as sets, costumes, scene composition go. We have watched this version of Marley’s epiphany about 1,000 times.

    Also, why the close up tracking shots of lockboxes? Silly.
