Bellock: The post you’re referencing was not mine, it was Guy’s. However, it is a huge difference regardless. Guy found the pics and credited his source. He did not, however, stick an In Contention watermark on them and present them as exclusive content.

Taking other peoples photos and putting your own watermarks on them is wrong. I’m guessing these are from a picture agency.
You have reprinted the pictures here, did you pay the picture agency for the rights to use their photos?
If a magazine had printed the pictures in the same form as you, they would have to pay.
ALynch, I wore a corset, more or less, when I was in a back brace for a year during high school. I know what a corset is capable of. You’ve gotta be pretty fuckin skinny to begin with to get into a corset like the one pictured above. i mean, imagine her without it, without her sucking in… it still looks like she smaller than the width of a basketball.

Ugh. I’m sorry, maybe it’s being a girl and not a guy, but that picture is just gross. I can appreciate hot women, but that’s just not hot, in my opinion. Megan Fox is very pretty normally, but that corset image is just disgusting, yuck. Brings to mind tales of the women who would have ribs and organs removed in order to shrink their waists down in corsetry.
in terms of photos, i thought the courts already declared the internet as a public domain? meaning you can do whatever you want with pictures on the internet. the wateramarks were just suppose to make it harder to borrow pics without acknowledgement, and is not a copyright trademark.
on another note, MEGAN IS HOT. She has that dirty look that is in itself it’s own personality.
adam: I’ve taken these photos from the source I’ve indicated. There is no picture agency involved. Someone took some snaps and sent them to Movie Gab and we’ve credited that site here. What we have not done is tried to pass the content off as our own.

I’m not saying anyone can have anything legal thrown in their face. The question was simple: is it right?
I think it’s perfectly fine to use internet photos at will. Stories/words on the otherhand are creative works so I would stick to sourcing material borrowed regarding those, even though not legally bound on the internet forum.
If you look at the meta tags for the photos you see that the copyright belongs to Leigh Green/INFphoto.com – a picture agency.
Meta tags? I don’t even know what the hell that is, to be honest. My job is to post the material and offer my source. Again, big difference between that and acting, via watermarking, as if In Contention were the source of the photos.

For me, Megan Fox isn’t hot and sexy. I prefer europeans like kate winslet, marion cotillard, juliette binoche and samantha morton.
I saw her in Confessions of a teenager drama queen with lindsay lohan and is the same character (like a copy) like Transformers. In the Lohan’s film she pretends to be a popular but also charismatic girl and the result is awful. I hope this director and actors help this girl.
