There’s a very brief glimpse of a scene in the trailer that looks like a musical number with an animated bird that lands on JG-L’s finger. Gosh, I hope that he sings and dances. That would be brilliant.

The teaser was an amazing piece of marketing. However, the film looks like a music video director’s first attempt at a narrative overloaded with bells and whistles and not much else.

You could do worse than be a music video director and throw every trick in the book at it, but cast such a strong actor as Gordon-Levitt in the lead.
I think this is gonna be the break out of the summer.

I’ve heard lots of good things. I’m pretty stoked for this.
Wow! I think this looks superb. I love the dialogue, the visuals, the two leads…this is a must-see now.

I really don’t get Joseph Gordon-Levitt as an actor… he’s charismatic and all but even when he’s saying the most normal things it just screams “acting” to me…
but I AM in love with zooey deschanel , so…
MattyD.
This is my most anticipated film of the entire summer along with “Away We Go”. I can’t wait!!!

This does look to be the best movie of the summer I most say. Plus the reviews from Sundance were quite good.

Can someone explain the love affair with Zooey – I mean, I love her as a singer, but so far I have yet to really be impressed with her acting in what I’ve seen (Elf and The Happening). She seemed bored in Elf. And her “acting” was painfully and almost hilariously bad in the Happening. Is there a film I should watch to re-think my sadly low opinion of the beautiful singer?

Check out ‘All the Real Girls’ if you want to see Zooey do good work.

Is there actually 500 images of Zooey on that poster?
I am so excited for this!
I’ve read the script and it’s really good. I can’t see this coming out as anything but a winner, I just hope it finds an audience.
This is my most anticipated movie of the summer. Period.
Well, it looks like a good story and I like the trailer. JGL’s been pretty solid, so I’m looking forward with this one.
Oops, that was ‘looking forward to this one’, not ‘with’.
