I think to move it away from the Presidential Inauguration.

Four…more…days…
I’m excited. Next week will be swell.

Unless Gran Torino gets nominated for Best Picture, in which case the country is doomed. ;)
evan
the obama administration is so going to rock.
John Travolta
Obama is a lock for president although Biden is the dark horse
Zan
Since Obama was elected, the film “Man of the Year” has suddenly become too outdated. No more is the idea of a tactless everyman wandering into a place he doesn’t belong seem so farfetched.
Lane
The idea that we can have an intelligent president in the White House no longer seems farfetched either.

four more days until our country is handed over to an inexperienced city planner. hip hip hurray!!!
Cat in the Hat
FOUR…MORE…DAYS!!
Bush, let the door hit ya when you leave!
Emily
Hmm.
I wonder if they make a movie about Obama like ‘W.’, who would play Obama? I mean, Fred Armisen does a good job on SNL, but that’s not gonna work.
Who’d be Michelle? Biden? I’m calling RDJr for Rahm Emanuel. And maybe Barack Obama.
Scott Ward
shamu, I’m sorry Obama didn’t go to war to earn his credibility like the other candidate. It’ clear who nearly everyone wants as their president, so let it go. I was actually really surprised McCain could get that many people to vote for him, but then again I’m in South Carolina, and we will always be a red state even if Satan himself was on the GOP ticket.

The only reason everyone wanted him as president is because he is a talented speaker. You know who else was a talented speaker, Hitler. I hope I’m wrong and he ends up being a great president, but the facts are there, he has no experience.
Scott Ward
Yes that, and he has a lot of intelligence, or more importantly, common sense. At least much more than his opponent.
Well, if that’s the case, let’s just slide Eliot Spitzer into office. Yay!
Bill
John Tra: Funny.
I once wrote an article last year around Oscar time. I was talking about how Bill Clinton might lose his chances at Best Supporting player because they were campaigning him as a lead.
Scott Ward
Zan, show me where I say that those elements are the only two required to be President. I realize you were half-joking, but think about what I say before you post next time.
Zan
Well, it’s funny that of everything that he stands for, those are the points you chose to emphasize. Not the radical differences in policies.
Scott Ward
I apologize Zan, I didn’t realize I had to give the man’s bio and detail where he stands on every issue. The reason he emphasized “change” in his campaign so much is because McCain is just another robot Washington is sending off of the treadmill, someone who just wants the title and power of being president, rather than the ability for accomplishment that the president has the opportunity for.
McCain’s attempted use of rhetoric in the debates was so clearly blatant I couldn’t help but smile the entire time his mouth was open.
Again, I didn’t realize that I needed to go into detail on this matter because I thought it was obvious to anyone who paid attention for even a second during the campaigns as to which man would make the better leader. But I’m not going to get into a political discussion.

Intelligence + Charismatic Speaker = Presidential Candidate?
