Okay, every time this Wendy’s “3conomics” commercial runs, I get distracted for a minute because I SWEAR the guy on the left is the lunatic Harvey Dent abducts after the mayor’s funeral service in “The Dark Knight.” You know, “His name is Shiff. Thomas. A paranoid schizophrenic admitted to Arkham. The kind of mind The Joker attracts.” That guy. Am I crazy?

Haha! Yes, I saw this commercial the other day and thought the same thing. It is him.
Yeah, it’s definitely the same guy, and those ads are hard to watch because he still looks creepy.

I was half-watching ‘Knight’ with family over Christmas and when he came up on screen, I knowingly said, “It’s the Wendy’s guy!” — No one got it…
YES! I told my wife that yesterday when it played. So, does a Wendy’s commercial denote a career upswing after TDK or, due to his performance as a paranoid schizo, is he now relegated to fast-food commercials?
He looks strangely similar to the actor who plays Scarecrow, Cilian Murphy. Weird.

Yeah, I was wondering why they hired a guy that looks like Cilian Murphy. I’ve seen other website where stupid people thought that they were the same actor. I did a double take the first time I saw him in the Dark Knight.
What’s wierd is that Cilian Murphy never became a big star! He was in a few other movies, but haven’t heard from him again.

There is another actor in The Dark Knight who looks like this guy and Cillian Murphy…he’s on the ferry with the prisoners at the end. I’m pretty sure he’s a cop on the ferry (not one of the national guard).
Yeah… he too looks like Mr. Murphy. Why did they cast so many guys that bear a resemblance to him?
Yeah the guardat the end distracted me a little too, he looked like both of those men. Weird universe Nolan builds.
If I had to find a single criticism of the Nolan films, and this applies much more to Begins than Knight, it’s that a lot of the lesser villains and minions look like Eurotrash guys from a Van Damme movie. For instance all of Carmine Falcone’s gangsters.
