Seriously, why do these awards exist?
Does a single one of these winners feel a real sense of accomplishment because they got a Satellite award? I mean, Angelina Jolie isn’t going to get anything else all season, and I bet she still doesn’t care that she won.
The precursor scene needs some serious spring-cleaning. Too much.

Hey Guy. Compare the last 12 G. S. with the G.G and even with the Oscars, and tell me which of the 3 has better choices.

Nice t0 see Richard Jenkins and the Frost/Nixon screenplay win even if no one takes the Satellites very seriously. Iron Man’s editing win is kinda a big surprise, I would’ve considered it a contender for the “action” slot at the oscars if Dark Knight wasn’t there.

It’s not their choices that I have a problem with. (Though I personally question one or two of these.)
It’s just that I have no idea what their purpose is… they seem like an afterthought. I have the same problem with a lot of these newer precursors.
