Much as I respect Dave Karger, his statement that “Nick and Norah” deserves a screenplay nomination is so many kinds of wrong I don’t even know where to start.
Seconded, Guy. Nick and Norah was a mess from start to finish, and the characters were caricatures — there’s the drunk girl, and the gay friend, etc. Ugh.
Australian cinema chain Reading is selling tickets for “Australia” already and they’re listing a running time of 175minutes so that appears to settle that mystery, although we may not know until much closer to the release date.
