Love the new trailer! BTW – Hugh and Nicole (and Baz by satellite) are going to be on the Oprah Winfrey Show for the full hour on November 10.

It surely looks beautiful, but not that original. I might be wrong…

Ugh. Who are they trying to market this to? These trailers are not going to appeal to “real” people. I can’t imagine many men wanting to see this based on the trailers. It looks like a soapy, melodramatic two-hour tourism commercial. Take out the bombs and the planes and it would almost look like a Lifetime MOW.

I can see this movie flopping. I hope the trailers aren’t an indicator for the quality of the film itself. If the editors of the trailers couldn’t figure out what the movie is really about, then what are the chances the editor of the film can’t either?

The trailers keep getting worse. I’m starting to think this might be a legendary disaster. Should have stuck with the first, which was vague and made great use of the score from Branagh’s HENRY V.

Well, it’s obviously not going to be for everyone, but since when did Luhrmann makes movies that were?

I’m still on board for this. I’m guessing the heightened performances and kitsch aesthetic will prove fairly polarising, but I’m excited.

I think it looks fantastic, a great throwback to the great epics of the past. REALLY looking forward to it.

It looks all right. The cinematography looks good. But Kidman’s increasingly paralyzed face does nothing for me.

I’ve seen this film as a test audience a few months ago. There are a number of scenes from the trailer that I haven’t seen before from the test screening. I have absolute faith in this film and in Baz. This is one of my highly anticipated Best Picture films.

Even if every other person in the world hates this film, I know I’m going to love it. Can’t wait.

Yes Vance, because only men are “real” people.

Well, I’m a man and I’m pretty sure I’m “real” and I have been excited for this film ever since it was first announced! This trailer is good but it isn’t the best out of those produced. Regardless, I will be seeing this film on opening night!
