Hey, who wants to bet Amy Adams’s performance as Amelia Earhart in next year’s “Night at the Museum 2” (pics have hit the net here) will be more compelling than Hilary Swank’s work in Mira Nair’s “Amelia?”
Just saying…

no bet swank blows
Hey Kris…don’t offend people. Amy Adams will receive a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for this role, you just wait and see.
I’m being quite sincere…
I would assume the same thing but I def wont see Swank’s movie since I can’t stand her, but will prob catch Night 2 since the first was a good popcorn flick especially when going with younger kids…
I think they will be two different styles of movies, and both actresses will be excellent in their parts and satisfy the demands of their genre.
Adams is delightful and winsome – everytime I see her, I enjoy her performance. Swank looks perfect for an Earhart biopic (and I respect her work and accept the misses with the hits), and I really like the work of the director, Mira Nair.
I’d love it if there was 50 performances by actresses that interested me this year in any genre. Sometimes it seems that there are so few opportunities for actresses to shine. Take Adams for example – as an audience we’re more than ready for her to be the main character, not still playing mostly support.
What’s with all the Swank animosity?
