And I get to crash a block away when I’m in the city.

I can only hope to ever go to a place like that. But for me, growing up in a town of only four stoplights, Waffle House has that same kind of special feeling associated with it. But now that I moved to college in Columbia, SC, they banned smoking in all public places. Just trying to kill what we night owls have left.

Looks like the Waverly Diner on Waverly and 6th ave. That’s a nice little joint. I frequent that spot!
That’s definitely the Waverly. You can’t fool me. My favorite diner in the city.

Were you catching a flick at the IFC Center next door?
No, I was severely inebriated, stumbled downstairs from my friend’s pad and inhaled a Monte Cristo open faced sandwiched.
Scott: Nothing wrong with Waffle House. As a southern boy, I’m on board.
