From the AP:
A Modest Mouse music video directed by the late Heath Ledger is set for release this year.
A spokeswoman for the band says Ledger directed an animated video for “King Rat,” a track off the band’s 2007 album, “We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank.”
Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock collaborated with Ledger on the video’s concept, Lisa Markowitz says, adding that Brock “is supporting the completion of the video in honor of Heath’s last piece of work as a director.”
The actor, who died last year at age 28, had previously directed a music video for one of Ben Harper’s songs.

This AP report totally correct: “King Rat” actually wasn’t on “We Were Dead…”, it was a bonus track on the itunes version of the album I believe. Anyway, no matter where the song came from, this is cool that the video is finally seeing the light of day.
I meant this AP report isn’t totally correct. You get the idea.
I still can’t believe Australia may be the only country to get a theatrical release for “Dr Parnnasus”.
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus is going to get a wide international release, I am certain of that. I think it will perform well at the box-office, at least better than Gilliam’s last few movies. Heath’s last movie with Depp, Farrell, and Law playing the other personas of Tony should be a big draw. I bet TDK would have made about 200-300 mil without the Heath
factor. It certaintly would not have been the second highest grossing movie in the U.S. of all time.
Heath had several directorial projects in the pipeline. One was a chess movie about a child prodigy, the other was a movie about Nick Drake…I am not referring to his narration of a Nick Drake special but to a movie that was going to be a biopic of Nick Drake. I doubt those movies will be shelved, they will be completed by somebody else.
Blake, TDK would have made $350-450 million domestic if Heath hadn’t died. The Joker’s inclusion and his performance as the Joker played more of a role in the film’s gross than his death. Batman ’89 adjusts with inflation to over $450 million in 2008 dollars. The Joker is part of that film as well. To put it bluntly, the Joker is just as popular as Batman, which is why those two films were so much more successful than the other Batman movies.
