I’m still in a bit of wait-and-see mode on “Moneyball.” It could be an awards play, it could just be a bit of bankability in the fall movie season, but I do dig the one-sheet that hit the net this week. The trailer hit last month. Check out the full poster after the jump.

I like the vibe of this poster much more than the one given off by the trailer.
Easily the best poster in quite a while. Such conciseness…
I just followed the link to the trailer, which I hadn’t seen, and even though everyone seems to dislike the trailer, I have to admit that it looks watchable to me…. which is the absolute best I can say about a movie about effing baseball.
This poster does an even better job of selling the movie to me. I might actually watch this
…on DVD.
Maybe this is is because I’m a HUGE baseball fan, but I’m totally stoked for this movie. Between the trailer (which I thought looked great, unlike others) and this one-sheet, I’m optimistic that this will deliver. Plus, wasn’t Aaron Sorkin in charge of script re-writes for this when Soderbergh was dropped as director? Sorkin’s involvement just makes me anticipate this that much more.
This is possibly my most anticipated movie still to come out this year. Aaron Sorkin + Wally Pfister + Brad Pitt + Philip Seymor Hoffman + Baseball = yes, please. awesome. thank you.
Ha, I love how Pitt’s name nearly overtakes the title of the film.
I agree. This is easily one of the best posters in recent years. Love the angle they used. It was pretty ballsy to leave so much space at the bottom, but I think it paid off.
