Last week we got a look at the new trailer for Alexander Payne’s first film in seven years, “The Descendants.” Today, the poster comes our way. Take a look at the full image after the jump.

He looks like a pedophile.
How in the world does he look like a pedophile? Have we really come to the point where any adult simply looking at children is questionable, even when it couldn’t be any more benevolent? Very silly.
Now that he said, I can’t view the poster any way else.
In the same way that one might page through a family’s photo album and comment on any photo of a father with his children, “He looks like a paedophile,” I suppose Anonymous has a point.
Come on.
Oh that was at least good for a guilty snort. You really can’t look at the poster any other way anymore.
Which is fine, I guess. This poster is bland. Still looking forward to the film though.
Ha. He *might* look like a paedophile if his body didn’t look so relaxed. His look is, indeed, kind of like “I want them but it’s wrong” :p
Anyway. I like the poster.
Um, this poster has been around for a week.
Very simple, very clean. Not exactly earth-shattering or exciting, but it gets the job done. I especially like the use of red, makes it a bit striking upon first glance. Wasn’t wowed by the first trailer, but Payne is one of my favorites so this is still a must-see for me.
I still keep thinking of the last scene with Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception whenever I see this.
Gustavo: Um, so?
If I haven’t read the synopsis this movie, I could totally see why this poster shows Clooney like a pedophile.
I have to confess that I too thought he looked like a pedophile at first.
