This trailer for Nicole Holofcener’s latest breezy ensemble dramedy lets slip the film’s biggest laugh upfront, but it gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect. As I said in my Berlin review last month, the film is bright, slight and intelligently acted, but I must confess I haven’t given it a moment’s thought between then and now. It opens April 30.

Looks fun.
I think (and hope) the movie is better than the trailer.
Something about the trailer was kind of chunky, but the feel of the movie reminds me of some of my favorite smaller ensemble films from the past decade. Especially w/ Platt it certainly makes me think of Pieces of April.
It’s a lot better than Pieces of April, I’ll say that much.
Very excited. Nicole Holofcener is one of my favorite filmmakers working right now.
Re: my comment above. No, it wasn’t. Grrrr. Did I miss the point? Or was there no point at all? I think so. The dialogue! Two interesting lines out of.. all of them! I loved Hall, though.
