Looks gorgeous, but that narration is indeed very naff. Reminds me of the days of VHS and the trailers they would include at the start.
Also, notice how Abbie Cornish actually has the right body shape for a role like this. As great as it was, the daughters from “Pride & Prejudice” were hardly realistic.
Cinematography looks great. Winshaw looks great. But the film seems like less than what i thought it was gonna be and Cornish seemed kinda bland. I guess its only a trailer though…so we’ll see.

Possibly one of the first websites to embed the trailer.
Cinematography is splendid and art direction and costumes look pretty decent to me.
The performances do not seem spectacular but we will have to see more of it to judge that.
Would be great if Campion could get a second nom for director, along Scherfig and Bigelow.
Women on top indeed !

The narration sounds just like the sort you’d find in those trailer mash-ups on YouTube. Awful.
There’s nothing in this film, except for Abbie’s heaving bosom, that makes me want to see it. I feel like I’ve seen it quite a few times already.
This trailer makes the film seem a little bit different than it actually is. It’s a lot slower and deliberate than it seems here (not a bad thing!) and the focus is much more on Brawne than it is on Keats.

i agree cornish looks wrong and ithought that about streep in doubt and when i watched that film i was correct streep was all kinds of wrong.

I am loving Whishaw in this.

The cinematography looks gorgeous and the arts all seem tops. Some reviews mentioned that Cornish’s performance was Kidman-like. I could see something of that.
I thought Schneider’s accent was laughable. Guess I’m alone on that one.

I am not too excited about this. While it looks perfectly okay, this needed a star casting to get off the ground for the Oscars (at least Pride and Prejudice had Keira Knightley).

Pretty decent trailer, but yes the narration was not needed and took away from it.
The trailer was built a bit strange, but I am interested in seeing more. If it is good enough for Paul Schneider, it is good enough for me.
From the trailer the cinematography looks award-winning and Paul Schneider looks amazing. Cornish and Whishaw … I’m not too sure about them.
Ditto on the Schneider.
I want Schneider to get nom’d so bad.

I am intrigued by Paul Schneider’s turn.
