Got blood?

Written by

When a milkshake arrived on my doorstep two years ago, that was one thing.  But shipping me a pouch of O positive to herald the forthcoming vampire flick “Thirst” from director Park Chan-Wook?  That’s crossing the line.

Okay, I’m only kidding.  It’s fruit punch or something, with a straw.  But it’s a pretty nifty swag campaign from Focus Features (which already sent out neat-o satchels full of this and that for Shane Acker’s “9”).  Getting in the Comic-Con spirit, just over a week away…

Can’t believe they’re taking this to Comic-Con just because the movie involves vampirism, or that they think THIS is the movie to make a strong stateside push for Park. Liked the beginning and loved the ending but a total snooze for most of its running time. Forgot about it a few days later. Some nice imagery but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel and sorry to say but it’s just way too weird.

Jeez, cats. Chill on the “Education” trailer joygasm. SOME OF US have a haircut to get and can’t be on the net 24/7. Three comments in two separate posts on this. The web cracks me up.

Anyway, it’s top of the page now. Go love it. LOVE IT!

I’d rather lose that amount of blood than watch anything by Park Chan-Wook ever again.
