not a fan at all. But then I have never really been into the Green Lantern character to begin with and although I think Ryan Reynolds certainly has the physicality to pull off the action scenes, I just don’t think his cocky/comedic persona is right for the part. I dig him more as Deadpool than Green Lantern. Oh well, it is what it is, and if it looks cool enough I will probably still see it anyway…

    Looks wack.

But in other news the Social Network trailer looks cool. Fincher movies always have cool trailers.

Not what I pictured, but it’s not great lighting as far as getting an idea of how the whole thing looks. Besides that, I’ve heard good things about the script, and I like the cast they’ve got for this too.

How did they approve this for the cover? It looks awful.

Need to see some in motion shit.

I know this is all computer-generated- that he’s not actually wearing a suit- which is fine, but that mask looks corny and weak.

If Robin ever shows up in a future Batman film, let’s actually have a mask, not a CGI hologram.

If I recall correctly from a previous piece, his suit in the movie itself is going to be CGI as well. I remember it was starting to cause a stir among costume designers (the same way actors got in a flutter about mo-cap with Avatar).

Completely awesome, side-note; the cocky persona is perfect for Hal Jordan, cocky test-pilot and all.

I know nothing about the script, but I can’t help shake the feeling this film will be a visual feast of greens and yellows if nothing else.

The actual cover looks slightly better; this one seems to be quite washed out.

I think it’s hard to judge how CG looks as a finished product before the movie comes out. I honestly thought that Avatar’s CG was nothing special when I saw the first trailers on the internet, an opinion I quickly changed once I saw it as the craftsmen intended on the big screen.

i like how alien it looks. too bad its alien in a sort of stereotypical kind of way. not very adventurous. but adventurous could get dangerous. still excited though.

Kind of reminds me of Spawn, but I like it.

Seeing Ryan Reynolds lately, I begin to wonder: Is it possible for a dude to be too good looking?

This looks terrible. Maybe it’ll look better in motion. *shrugs* On to the next one…
