I’m with you, Kris. This is one of the 2-3 only films in Cannes I’m really excited about still, not in spite but BECAUSE of the critics who are elbowing each other trying to be the most extremely negative about it.
First, these are the same critics who are giving a pass to what seems like middlebrow little dramas. And second, I know my Lars, and I can assure you that pissing off those snobs is surely part of his endgame.

Well, the reactions sure has been interesting. The film opens here in Denmark on Wednesday and one of the big newspapers just gave it 6 out of 6 stars and filmmaker Jørgen Leth, who many of you probably know, just said on the news that Antichrist is a masterpiece. Maybe even THE masterpiece for Von Trier so far!

Hmmm, I think I need to take a weekend break to Denmark.
Yeah, I’m really looking forward to this movie. Will definitely go see it either Wednesday or Thursday here in Denmark.

Dogville is a masterpiece, so yeah I’m anxious to watch this.
It will be hard to beat both “Dancer in the Dark” and “Dogville”, which are a formidable duo and two films I would call unequivocal masterpieces.
