Is there anything out there worth talking about? Bueller? Bueller? I got nothin’. Though some recently released stills from Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables” (via /Film) remind me just how testosterone-laden that cast is.
Call this an open thread, I guess. Sound off.

1. Where the hell is the trailer for Julie & Julia…I’m so freakin anxious to here Meryl Streep speak like Julia Child I can hardly stand it! lol

^You’re spelling it wrong. ;)
I saw knowing last night and was blown away. Not by it’s suckiness as critics and the public would lead you to believe, but by it’s awesomeness.
The SFX were terrific, I thought.I knew on some level that I was looking at SFX, but they didn’t stand out. Just like Dark City, they were in service of the story, instead of the other way around. I would post particulars, but I don’t want to give anything away.
For some reason, Nicolas Cage’s character reminded me of Jeff Goldblum’s character in Independence Day. They both know that something terrible is going to happen and they try to warn others of it, only to be ignored until the very last minute.
I’ve only seen 3 movies so far this year (Watchmen and Aliens vs. Monsters being the other two), but Knowing is easily the best of the 3.
Ralph Fiennes in Ricky Gervais’s Cemetery Junction. Confirmed on rickygervais.com
I wish The Expendables was rated R. I am shocked that it’s not.
Marilyn Chambers died…the great Harry Kalas died…I saw Morrissey on Friday…that’s all I got.
Just wondering if anyone has checked out the new “No Country for Old Men” 3-disc set, is it worth the money?
Every movie theater should use the Vista in Los Feliz as a model for leg room.
My friends and I are probably more excited for “The Expendables” than is healthy. But come on. Sly! Ahnuld! Dolph! Jet Li! Stone Cold! Add Chuck Norris to the cast, and that’s basically my pre-adolescence in a nutshell.
chad: No DOUBT. That’s where I saw Transformers. Almost made it a good movie. Almost.
