My single favorite part of the Oscar season...

I've listened to Andy Trudeau's analysis of the Original Score nominees on NPR since the 2001 season, and each and every year, it's a delight. Take a listen to part one of this year's look.

lovely scores... at first I really wasn't that impressed about Santaolalla's work until somebody actually gave it to me as a gift, and I like it so much... Santaolalla is so talented, different, you should listen to some of his work as a producer especially a song called "Frijolero" by Molotov for which he won a grammy... I think...

and I've been thinking it will be a Pan's Labyrinth vs The Queen for the win...
