Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Heath Ledger, Maggie Gyllenhaal... and now Aaron Eckhart.

That sounds like one of the best ensemble casts in a looong time.

I think it has a chance. If this movie is as good as everyone thinks it will be, especially given the material Nolan has to work with, then I can see The Dark Night being not only the best comic book movie ever, but one of the best in '08. It has a legitimate shot. Heath Ledger also has a legitimate shot at a supporting nom.
