Excellent news about Albert Brooks’ Oscar bounce out of TIFF. I’d be very disappointed if his name wasn’t called nomination morning. And Robert Forester completely destroyed me everytime he was onscreen in The Descendants, so I’d have no gripes with him getting in, either. This might be the category I’ll be most excited about. A Christopher Plummer win would be most welcome.

I didn’t read the whole “Contagion” article for fear of spoilers, but it didn’t start off that well. Really, “Battle LA” was a hit? And “Super 8” and “District 9” were alien invasion movies?

By the way: happy last day, Kris!

It was on Access Hollywood. Surprisingly, they played the full thing sans annoying host voice over.

Oh ok, so it should be online very soon. Glad to hear they didn’t have the voice over.
